Butterfly valves in plastic and metal

GEMÜ butterfly valves are primarily used in industrial applications and the chemical industry, as well as the fields of water supply and water/waste water treatment. The concentric and single-eccentric designs are available as standard. However, the double-eccentric and triple-eccentric shut-off valves are also available for projects on request. Use of matched control components such as position indicators, positioners and process controllers allows GEMÜ butterfly valves to also be used in control circuits.

Pressure control valves


Pressure retaining valves GEMÜ N086, N186 and N786

The GEMÜ N086 and N186 pressure retaining valves are used to provide a constant back pressure in process plant. They can also be used as pressure relief valves to reduce pressure peaks in the bypass. Due to their minimal dead leg design, types N086 and N186 are particularly well suited to ultra pure water applications. The product range has been expanded to include the pressure retaining valve GEMÜ N786.

Pressure relief valves GEMÜ N085 and N185

Plant and piping systems are protected against gauge pressure and pressure peaks using pressure relief valves from the GEMÜ N085 and N185 series. A third pipe spigot facilitates installation in the main pipe through which any overpressure is relieved. Due to the cavity filled and flow-efficient design of the valve body, there is only a minimal pressure loss in the throughput.

Pressure reducers GEMÜ N082, N182 and N782

GEMÜ pressure reducers are used to reduce the pressure to a specified value, which can be easily set using a set screw. The inlet pressure is reduced to the required outlet pressure utilizing the pressure differential.

  • The working pressure can be very easily adjusted using a set screw and secured with the integrated lock nut. If required, the setting that has been made can be lead sealed
  • The flow-efficient design of the valve body ensures good flow rate values
  • Control errors are kept to a minimum due to the large control face and the spiral spring
  • The actuator is hermetically separated from the medium

Motorized control valve

The 2/2-way diaphragm globe valve GEMÜ C53 iComLine was developed for precise and demanding control applications in semiconductor production. The sealing concept of the valve is based on the tried and tested GEMÜ PD design, whereby actuator and medium are separated by a PTFE regulating cone. As the regulating cone contour, actuator stroke and connection size can be customized to meet customers’ requirements, the GEMÜ C53 i Com Line satisfies virtually all control and flow requirements of the high-tech semiconductor industry. Thanks to the combination of the precise stepper motor with ultra pure body materials, it is particularly suitable for lithography, CMP, and etching processes, as well as applications in the analysis field of any semiconductor production.

Combining functions in the smallest of spaces in one block offers even more advantages: The residual volume of media in the system is reduced in a measurable way, the flow is optimized and draining is improved. This enhances the performance capability of the entire system and reduces media consumption. Another advantage of blocks is that they provide junction points within plant. This allows easier cleaning and servicing. GEMÜ multi-port valve block systems are multi-functional units. At the same time, they have minimized the number of fittings and welded and solvent cemented joints, leading to a reduction in potential leakage points.
